Rigorous Academics.
Multicultural Experiences.
Personal Well-being.
Our Early Years curriculum at Hiba Academy Bay Area takes your child on the first steps on their lifelong learning journey. With our experiential approach to learning, students will explore the basics of mathematics, literacy, language, and the arts through developmentally appropriate, immersive, hands-on activities in both English and Chinese. In our outdoor learning areas, they will learn to take calculated and age-appropriate risks while they develop strength, coordination, and fine and gross motor skills. Along the way, they will cultivate essential life skills, like independence, building positive relationships with others, problem-solving, and self-care.
Our Primary students at Hiba Academy Bay Area will engage with all course content in English and Chinese equally. Chinese language, will not just be a subject; It will be a language of instruction. So, your child will not just learn a second language; they will learn how to learn in a second language. This is the key to proficiency. Our curriculum is also modeled after the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program. This framework emphasizes research-based inquiry, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, self-examination, and empathy. This balanced bilingual approach helps our students develop the perspectives and skills to make a positive impact wherever they go.
