Choosing a school is about much more than finding the right academic program. It is about finding a community where your child can feel known, challenged, supported, and inspired; and where your family feels a genuine sense of belonging. Take these simple three steps: 1) Learn & Reflect, 2) Apply & Commit, 3) Enroll & Onboard
We encourage families to begin by joining a School Day Tour or Saturday Open House. Come see the campus, experience the environment, ask questions, and get a sense of whether Hiba Academy Bay Area feels like the right fit for your child and your family.
Once you are ready to take the next step, applications may be submitted at any time. After your application is submitted, our Admissions team will guide you through the next stages:
1. Parent/Guardian Interview at Hiba Academy
A personal conversation to get to know your family.
2. Child Assessment Visit at Hiba Academy
An age-appropriate small group opportunity for us to get to know your child.
3. Admissions Decision & Enrollment
Decisions are shared through Ravenna in mid-March, followed by enrollment contracts and deposits.
To complete your written application:
Submit your application for PK3, PK4, Kindergarten, Grade 1, or Grade 2 for priority review for the 2027–28 school year.
2026–27 Enrollment: Applications remain open through the year for mission-aligned families interested in joining our founding community.
As the Admission season unfolds, we have set up multiple ways to connect with you, answer your questions, and share our vision for San Francisco’s newest bilingual international school. While some events are required, others are recommended or optional. Feel free to attend only those that support your decision-making process.
You do not need to submit an application before attending events or learning more about our Clarity Financial Aid platform.

Independent schools in San Francisco typically make admission decisions in mid-March. Admission decisions will be posted confidentially on the Ravenna site. Families will have one week to enroll by signing the contract and submitting a deposit. During that week, we will welcome families to our Admitted Family Reception; a chance to meet fellow families, connect with our community, and feel confident and excited about joining Hiba Academy Bay Area!
After enrollment, Hiba Academy Bay Area Founding Families will participate in a community onboarding process. This will include a series of celebratory welcoming events at our school campus, 99 Rhode Island Street.
Shortly before the school year starts, children and parents will be invited to orientation events, including opportunities to meet the teachers and visit the classrooms.
If you have any questions, our Admissions Team is here to support you every step of the way. We look forward to getting to know your family! Feel free to reach out to us by emailing admissions.bayarea@hibaacademy.org.
