A Message From Our Head of School

At Hiba Academy Bay Area, every student is deeply known, intentionally nurtured, and challenged to excel. We celebrate individuality while inspiring each child to discover the power of their own voice, with fluency and confidence in both Mandarin and English.

Our curriculum is concept-driven, inquiry-based, and academically ambitious. Students build strong foundations in literacy, mathematics, and science while also engaging in the arts, design thinking, and technology. They are encouraged to debate pressing global issues, create innovative solutions in STEM labs, and collaborate across languages and cultures. In every setting, Hiba Academy students learn to think critically, act with compassion, and lead with courage.

Bilingualism is the heartbeat of our mission. Beyond linguistic fluency, students learn to analyze across perspectives, listen with empathy, and connect ideas across cultures. This intellectual agility and cultural fluency prepare them to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

Our values—kindness, respect, responsibility, courage, and integrity—are woven into daily life in classrooms, on playgrounds, and throughout our community. By the time they graduate, students are bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural.

As an educator who has lived and worked across continents, I have witnessed how transformative a truly global education can be. At Hiba Academy, we nurture a vibrant microcosm of the interconnected world our students will lead. We are a bridge between languages, cultures, and people, where curiosity dissolves borders and collaboration become second nature. It is my honor to invite your family into this community, where students flourish academically, grow socially, and lead ethically, prepared to thrive in a transforming world.
