For our family, Hiba Academy hit the sweet spot in terms of what we were looking for in a bilingual Mandarin kindergarten. One school we evaluated was academically rigorous but narrowly focused on academics alone. Another prioritized social learning and growth, but drew criticism for lacking academic rigor. Hiba Academy stood apart by presenting themselves as truly well-rounded, committed to educating the whole child and guiding them toward global citizenship. As a new campus, I initially had concerns about their level of experience. Those concerns were quickly put to rest once I learned they bring decades of experience from their other campuses around the world. Beyond that, they're assembling a faculty that blends established educators from their other campuses with members of the local community, creating an experience uniquely tailored for San Francisco students and their families. Another factor that contributed to our confidence was the way Hiba Academy showed up at every event throughout the admissions process. We weren't just meeting the admissions team; we were meeting the entire Hiba Academy family, from their Head of School to their Operations, Finance, and HR teams, as well as representatives from other campuses. That united front gave us real confidence that the same level of care and commitment would be there for our children every step of the way. Choosing a kindergarten is one of the most meaningful decisions a family can make, and we're proud to say that Hiba Academy earned our trust at every turn. From their thoughtful approach to bilingual education, to the depth of their global experience, to the warmth and transparency they demonstrated throughout the admissions process, they made it clear that our children wouldn't just be students here; they'd be part of a community. We are genuinely excited for this chapter ahead and wholeheartedly recommend Hiba Academy to any family seeking a school that truly sees and nurtures the whole child.
From the very first interaction, the admissions team at Hiba Academy Bay Area made our family feel genuinely welcomed. What stood out most was how kind, open, and honest they were about our child's needs. They took the time to truly listen, ask thoughtful questions, and share candid insights rather than just telling us what we wanted to hear. That kind of transparency meant the world to us as parents. What inspired us to apply was the school's clear commitment to building a strong, values-driven community. Something that's increasingly rare and so important to us. We left every conversation feeling confident that Hiba Academy isn't just preparing children academically, but equipping them with the tools and relationships they'll need for the future. For any family searching for a school where your child is known, supported, and part of something meaningful. We would wholeheartedly recommend Hiba Academy Bay Area. We are so grateful for the warm and thoughtful experience throughout the entire admissions process.
Our son calls Hiba Academy Bay Area the “panda school”. At every event we’ve attended, he’s greeted joyously by name and feels immediately welcome. He’s a curious and confident explorer and seeing him interact with the founding team made us feel like Hiba would help him thrive. We also feel lucky to be part of a neighborhood school that will let us connect with a global community. We believe that a bilingual education will help him develop cultural empathy and become a global citizen.
Hiba Academy is such a unique school with very different approach compared to any school we’ve been to. Starting from our first visit and throughout the whole admission process, staff were very polite, informative and very professional. All of our questions were answered in a detailed way, we’ve got so much support and encouragement. Since nobody in our family speaks Mandarin (at least for now) we had concerns whether it would be good fit for our son who will be joining PK3, but after talking to management who provided us in-depth answer on methodology that will be used with warmth, respect and patience we moved forward with a confidence that our son will be in good hands.
One thing I really wanted to say is that I have been genuinely impressed by what Hiba Academy has accomplished in its founding year. Especially given that Hiba has been building and enrolling at the same time, even before the campus was fully completed, what Hiba’s team has created already feels remarkably thoughtful, warm, and compelling. That is truly not easy in San Francisco, and I mean that sincerely.
