99 Rhode Island
The Hiba Academy Bay Area, campus is situated in San Francisco’s Showcase Design District – at 99 Rhode Island Street. Formerly the Airbnb headquarters, the three-story building has high ceilings, amazing natural light, a huge play yard, and a sunny rooftop.
We are renovating our interior—and exterior—spaces to create a state-of-the-art educational environment, echoing the color palette, biculturalism, and child-friendly functionality, of our sister Wellington College schools.

April 2026 Update
The Environment is The Third Teacher
All wise educators know that the environment is the third teacher. The Hiba Academy Bay Area architectural space is a metaphor for “Minds Wide Open!”
Our Founding Families will experience a genuine “Wow moment” at the ribbon cutting ceremony! The children will love their airy, light filled classrooms and giant, green play yard. They will really look forward to coming to school. Our nature play-zones, rooftop gardens, and open-door, adjoining classrooms, extend learning beyond the classroom, into the surrounding environment. This promotes wellness, curiosity, and sustainability.
Common areas feature interactive displays, modular furniture, and writable wall surfaces which support dynamic, student-centered explorations.
Hiba Nest
The Hiba Academy Bay Area Admission office is currently located at our Hiba Nest at 1775 Alameda Street, adjacent to the 99 Rhode Island Street new campus. As the season unfolds, we look forward to welcoming you to the Hiba Nest for Heart-to-Heart Conversations, Parent/Guardian interviews, Assessment Visits, and more!
Hiba Academy Bay Area Discovery Walks
We know how important it is for families to see the school in person. While construction limits our access to the building, we’ll share tour dates as they’re confirmed and post updates for you to register online. We are excited to have a Hiba Academy team member guide parents/guardians on a hard-hat tour of our new campus — so families can start imagining their child learning and growing at Hiba Academy.
