        Global Reach, Deep Roots

Hiba Academy is excited to bring a truly transformative education to the San Francisco Bay Area. Set to open in Fall 2026, we are a bilingual international school that will serve Pre-K to Grade 5 students. At capacity, approximately 400 children will thrive in our dual-language educational environment, where they will learn English and Chinese not as discrete academic subjects but as languages of instruction across the curriculum. In the longer term, we plan to expand to a full Pre-K to grade 12 provision as our learning community grows.

        Bilingual International Curriculum

Our students dive into an immersive bilingual environment where they thrive in learning both English and Chinese. Chinese is not confined to a language class; it is a medium for instruction across subjects. This affirms our belief that language has the power to build connections between cultures and shape globally oriented minds.

        Whole-Person Development

Our commitment extends beyond academic achievement. We want our students to become empathetic, ethical, and socially responsible individuals who can navigate a complex global landscape.

        Curriculum

        IMG_0123.jpg

        Rigorous but Supportive

Our innovative curriculum is designed to instill a lifelong love of learning in your child. Although it is rigorous and challenging, we provide a nurturing environment that supports growth and success both academically and personally. Our balanced approach equips students with the traits essential for making a positive impact wherever they go.

        Chinese Immersion

We don't just teach Chinese as a discrete academic subject. It's a language of instruction alongside English in all subjects, even PE. As such, students learn to speak, listen, and think in a second language. So, when we teach a subject like maths, our pupils don't just absorb the course material; they build a more sophisticated vocabulary while developing higher-order reasoning skills in both languages.

        Teaching the Whole Child

Our approach addresses the needs of the whole child — academic as well as social, emotional, and physical. Values play an important role too. Students learn to live the Hiba values in all that they do. We also teach global perspectives, emphasizing inclusivity, tolerance, and building bridges between cultures. So, whether in the classroom, on the court, in the art studio, or out serving the wider community, Hiba students acquire the tools they need to become successful global citizens.
